Lesson 3  Please send me a card

Postcards always spoil my holidays. Last summer, I went to Italy. I visited museums and sat in public gardens. A friendly waiter taught me a few words ofItalian. 'Then he lent me a book. I read a few lines, but I did not understand a word. Every day I thought about postcards. My holidays passed quickly, but I did not send any cards to my friends. On the last day I made a big decision. I got up early and bought thirty-seven cards. I spent the whole day in my room, but I did not write a single card!

单词:summer,of,about,to

postcards后面的ds发音成ci,自己之前都把它读成z了。

and的发音有四种ənd,ən,ænd,n。

单独发音ænd,作为连接词,在句子中常弱读成其它三种发音。

to的发音,作为介词,也是功能词,在句中需要弱读。跟在以t结尾的单词后面,比如,went,会连读成wɛntʊ,而不是发出两个t,还有一种情况,发成tə,如文中的to my friends。

练习感受

最近两天联系时间大概在45分钟,自己也觉得发出的音频,很一般。今天调休,多花了一倍时间,对单词发音更敏锐了。果然口语这件事,练习是多多益善!

看到有些小伙伴,早起5点半练习,晚上还要再抽时间练,顿时觉得自己还不够沉浸,很受鼓舞。

同时,有点小担心这些小伙伴,会在前期发力过猛,影响持续。
