摘要：An inkjet printer 10 includes at least one print cartridge 18 mounted in ascanning carriage 16 and having an ink interconnect 42 coupled, via a flexible tube 40, toan ink output of a stationary pressure regulator 38, an ink input of the pressure regulatoris connected, via a tube 36, to a stationary ink supply 30 having replaceable ink cartridges31-34, the print cartridge contains one or more printheads 96 and one or more inkinterconnects , one interconnect for each colour ink which is printable by the printcartridge. To avoid ink pressure spikes due to the momentum of the ink in the flexible inktube as the carriage scans across the medium, a flexible diaphragm 76 is incorporated inthe ink chamber 72, 73 of the print cartridge. The print cartridge is inserted in thescanning carriage so as to create a fluid coupling between the printhead and the flexibletube leading to the scanning carriage.
