Describe a lesson you learned which have enriched your life experience (making up a story)

During the winter holiday, my father bought my mother an E-bike, because of the long distance put between home and factory. Hardly had the bike arrived at home when my father asked me to ride it. He said that it was a waste of time to spend all the precious time on computer and learning to ride the E-bike was meaningful and rewarding. I retorted abruptly that riding an E-bike was a piece of cake and it was unnecessary to spare the time. In the following days, I tried to ignore his constant chatter, but in vain. He acted just like a bee buzzing around all the time, distracting my attention from what I was engaged in. Seeing his never-giving-up spirit, I knew there was no alternative but to obey his order. Hoverer, my compromise was not to do what was told, but to make it clear that riding an E-bike was as easy as eating a meal. Facing the huge bike, I got a little bit nervous, for I had no idea about how to handle the heavy object. In order not make my inner feelings disclosed, I managed to push it onto the cement road behind our house. When I was sitting on the bike and holding the handlebars, so many things came into my mind: what if the bike fell down, what is there were many people on the road. My heart beat faster when my father uttered some words suddenly. I knew he was asking me to start, but I was very much inhibited. Not wanting to show timidity, I plucked up the courage to take a risk. Although finally I made it, a lesson I learned was that the seemingly easy things were not that easy as expected. As an old saying goes, nothing in the world is impossible if you set your mind to do it. And it is also an unchangeable truth that nothing in the world is as simple as you think once you step into it.
